(Studio) Democratic Vice President designate Senator Walter Mondale and top staffers arrived in Plains, Georgia, Saturday night to begin coordinating campaign strategy.

(Plains, Georgia) Mondale arrival shown. Mondale attends church with Carter. At church reunion, Carter asked about recent poll, depicting Carter-Mondale ticket defeating Republican more than 2-1. [CARTER - says too much to expect.] Carter's house will be site for briefings on defense, economy and foreign policy. On Wednesday, CIA head, George Bush, will give briefing on US security.
