(Studio) House Ethics Committee issues report in which it recommended reprimand for Representative Robert Sikes.

(DC) Committee found that Sikes failed to report stock ownership in Fairchild Inds. and in 1st Navy Bank while he participated in votes affecting interests of Fairchild and bank as member of House Armed Services Committee Ethics Committee felt it lacked jurisdiction in one conflict of interest charge that occurred before committee formed. [SIKES - doesn't feel report justified. Doesn't feel reelection will be affected. Local support strong due to Washington, DC persecution.] House to consider reprimand Thursday
