(Charleston, West Virginia) [MAN - speaks to crowd with regard to strike.] Appx. 300 miners gather in Cedar Grove, West Virginia, after UMW (United Mine Workers of America, International Union) president failed to show. [2nd MAN - gives benediction.] Arnold Miller explains why he didn't attend meeting [MILLER - urges strike end. Claims his life threatened.] Hope for miners' return to work slim.
