(Studio) House Ethics Committee decides to take no action against CBS newsman Dan. Schorr for publisher report of House Intelligence Committee
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite
(DC) Committee discussions and actions noted. [Chairperson Representative John FLYNT - says committee voted not to recommend to House that Schorr be cited for contempt of Congress] [SCHORR - says it's good committee didn't seek confrontation with press; says would have been disastrous. Says it's up to CBS when he goes back to work.] (Interview by Bernard Shaw.) CBS spokesperson says now legal matter solved, company will address problem it has with Schorr.
