(Studio) Patricia Hearst draws 7 years in San Francisco bank robbery case. Hearst actions with regard to SLA recalled. Will be parole eligible in 16 mos.

(San Francisco, California) Family and Episcopal priest, Edward John Dumke, present for sentencing. Judge William Orrick hands down sentence. F. Lee Bailey and Al Johnson quoted. James Browning argued for more time. Catherine Hearst believes Patty got no breaks from courts or press. [BROWNING - believes sentence proper.] [BAILEY - describes verdict and sentence as outrageous.] Appeal to be made. Hearst to go on trial in Los Angeles early next year on kidnap, robbery, and assault charges.
