(Belfast, North Ireland) British forces in North Ireland have miserable and dangerous job. In past 3 years, nearly 200 killed and 1000 wounded. [Pvt. Paul NIGHTINGALE - says duty is to keep peace and track down law breakers.] Question is whether any amount of troops can hold lid on rising violence and guerrilla warfare in North Ireland.
