(Studio) Search conts. in Atlantic from Nova Scotia to Rhode Island for ship feared lost.
REPORTER: Roger Mudd

(Boston, Massachusetts) No trace yet found of oil tanker; search based at Boston Coast Guard station. Is revealed today industry fuel oil doesn't flow as liquid until at relatively high temperature. [Captain Bernard HOYLAND - says "Grand Zenith's" oil could remain trapped in hull.] Research re: dispersal of oil underway at MIT; Prof. Jerome Milgram says if ship went down, oil will eventually escape. [MILGRAM - cites possible environmental problems with oil.] Question now is what happened to tanker.
