(Studio) President Carter's press conference statement with regard to opposition to federal funds for abortions, despite death of Texas woman after abortion in Mexico, and similar view of Department of Health, Education and Welfare Secretary Joseph Califano noted. Also disclosed is new information recently learned with regard to concern about Califano's stand on emphasizing birth control.
