(Studio) Supreme Court ruling with regard to forced early retirement noted.
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite

(Culpepper, Virginia) Details noted with regard to case of former United Air Lines flight instructor Harris McMann, who was on pension plan which forced him to retire at age 60, despite law setting 65 as mandatory retirement age. [McMANN - says if human body allowed to be idle it will deteriorate and that there are also economy factors that aren't considered in retirement.] Effect of court ruling against McMann and proposed new law with regard to issue noted.
