(DC) Begin's departure from Blair House to meet with Carter noted. [BEGIN - will meet with Carter, then talk with reporters Says there's real chance for meeting with Sadat soon.] Has been learned Begin-Sadat summit is near certainty and probably to be held at Aswan, Egypt. Details of Begin-Carter talks, include evidence that Begin talks with regard to land concessions in peace plan, noted. Carter's telephone call to Sadat mentioned. [BEGIN - describes mtg. with Carter.] Prime Min.'s meeting with Congmen. cited. [Senator Henry JACKSON - cites reaction to Begin plan.] [Senator Jacob JAVITS - reacts to plan.] Details with regard to diplomatic actions to be taken while President is at family wedding in Fayetteville, North Carolina, given.

(Cairo, Egypt) Sadat's activities for day reported [SADAT - hopes he and Begin will be meeting soon, but doesn't know when. Notes invitation from Carter for visit, but has no plans to do this. Hopes for meeting with Begin in next 2 weeks, but has received nothing official. Has heard nothing about mtg. with Carter on United States President's foreign trip.] Sightseeing by Israeli delegation to Cairo conf., recessed for wkend., noted; comments by delegation leader Eliahu Ben-Elissar quoted with regard to pharaoh to whom, legend says, Moses pled for freedom of Israelites from bondage to Egypt.
