(Studio) GM's out-of-court agreement to reimburse owners of Oldsmobiles, Buicks and Pontiacs in which company installed Chevrolet engines reported.

Chicago, 11, resident Joseph Siwek's discovery of problem in his Delta 88 car noted. Details of settlement listed. [Illinois attorney general William SCOTT - says settlement is fair and saves years of litigation.] [GM cnsl. Patrick McCARTAN - says same deal will be offered to others in lawsuits against GM.] [SIWEK - says accidents can happen, but he'll look at everything next time he buys car.]
