[State Senator John BIRMINGHAM - says believes in Bible's law of eye for eye and tooth for tooth.] [State Senator Don MacMANUS - opposes death penalty.] [State Senator Leslie FOWLER - disapproves capital punishment for kidnapping.] [State Senator George BROWN - says evidence is that no connection exists between death penalty and murder rate.] Senator votes against death penalty.
