REPORTER: Walter Cronkite
(DC) Reporter notes Mexican war in 19th century when United States got California and much of s.w. from Mexico. Visit of President Lopez Portillo to President Carter cited and problems to be discussed listed, include illegal aliens and congress refusal to do anything about them and drug traffic. Lopez Portillo isn't going to continue predecessor's anti-Yankee attacks or wound own country by voting to equate Zionism with racism.
