(Studio) Black ntlists. attack Roman Catholic mission outside Salisbury, Rhodesia, Sunday night, killing 4 nuns and 3 Jesuit priests, all white.
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite

(London, England) Report on slaughter at mission. Killed were Father Martin Thomas, Father Christopher Shepherd-Smith and Bro. John Conway, plus 3 German nuns and 1 English nun. Survivor is Father Dunstan Myerscough. In London, head of mission, Father Mark Hackett, plans return from vacation to Musami mission. [HACKETT - says he doesn't know reason for attack.]
