(Studio) Nixon vetoes $2.6 billion vocational rehabilitation bill.
REPORTER: Howard K. Smith
(White House) Bill would have provided funds to help train handicapped, incl. Vietnam vets. [Budget director Roy ASH - says overspending by Congress would create inflation.] Ash warns of higher taxes if Nixon budget not followed. Department of Health, Education and Welfare Secretary Weinberger says government changing many federal programs and terminating some.
