(Studio) President Carter has congress group to White House to talk with regard to energy plan and prepares for Thursday's departure for economy conference in London.

(DC) Carter meets with Select Committee on Energy, trying to convince them of enormity of problem. [CARTER - says energy legislature will be biggest thing before Congress in years Hopes members will be able to take political stress and is willing to take blame for changing lifestyles of American people.] Some topics of discussion at economy conference noted.
