(Studio) Flash floods in Kansas City, Missouri, noted.

(Kansas City, Missouri) Report on flood and its damage. One of hardest hit areas is Country Club Plaza shopping and entertainment center, along Brush Creek. [Merchant Ed SCHULTZ - notes entire block almost washed away.] [Merchant Frances BERTONCIN - notes everything in her store is ruined.] [Plaza developer Miller NICHOLS - says it's taken 54 years to build Plaza and they aren't going to let one flood destroy it.] Outlying areas have flooding from rivers and much farmland is ruined for this year At Independence, Missouri, airport looks like lake. Weather forecast noted.
