(NYC) Portrait shown. Film of portrait presentation by Parliament in 1954 shown. Mrs. Churchill said to have destroyed painting as Churchill disliked it. [In 1954 film,CHURCHILL - calls portrait example of modern art.] Churchill's distaste for modern art noted. Sutherland quoted as saying destruction of painting an act of vandalism. [SUTHERLAND - likens picture to bulldog nature of Churchill.]
