(Tel Aviv, Israel) Alfred Atherton negotiations noted. Film shown. Progress toward formula for participation of Arabs on west bank and in Gaza strip confirmed. [ATHERTON - says a bit of progress seen.] Menahem Begin quoted with regard to resumption of military talks in Cairo. [BEGIN - anticipates action of parliament with regard to talk renewal.] Moshe Dayan quoted with regard to role of US in political talk progress; possibility of Jordan's King Hussein's joining talks considered. Atherton visit to Hussein reported Other Atherton actions noted. Shuttle diplomacy recalled.
