(Stowe, VT) Report on aid given to political careers of Govs. James Rhodes, Ella Grasso and Michael Dukakis, of Ohio, Connecticut and Massachusetts, respectively, by crises resulting from winter blizzards. Films shown. [RHODES - states situation of many people caught in snowstorms.] [GRASSO - cites plans for relief of Connecticut residents.] [DUKAKIS - outlines plans for rescue efforts.] Massachusetts's other Pols.' efforts to catch up with Dukakis noted. [WOMAN - talks to Senator Edward Kennedy.] Boston Mayor Kevin White was on Florida vacation at time. Snowstorms' aid to skiing industry in Vermont and to plant in Shelburne, that makes ski poles and is owned by Vermont Governor Rich Snelling, noted. [SNELLING - cites advantages of snow for VT.]
