(San Quentin, California) L. Ewing Scott in San Quentin for murder but his innocence always maintained. Parole refused for fear it would be admission of guilt. [SCOTT - refuses to take parole; reasons.] Details of wife's disappearance in 1955 recounted. Prisoner released unconditionally since parole rejected year after year [SCOTT - says thoughts today inexpressable.]
