(Studio) House study group in Washington, DC recommends government and industry join in allotting $1 billion/yr. for research to solve energy crisis.

(Sonoma County, California) Geothermal heat, heat from earth's crust, can be used for energy. Plant in California produces 300,000 kilowatts electricity. In Reno, NV, many homes in 1 neighborhood take advantage of hot spring for heating. [Starr HILL - says costs $2.90/mo. for heat with spring.] Use of geothermal energy expected to increase greatly in years to come.
