(Studio) Unsuccessful jawboning efforts of President Carter and inflation advisers to get AFL-CIO leader George Meany to support restrictions on wage increases noted. Meany's contention that it is prices, not wages, that cause inflation reported Film shown, courtesy ABC's "Issues and Answers." [MEANY - says having restrictions on wages would leave unions with nothing to bargain for.] Hispanic unemployment rate contrasted to national unemployment rate; United States Civil Rights Commission recommendation that government report facts and figs. of Hispanic unemployment more often because those figs. are basis for making Hispanics eligible for job training programs reported.
