(Lawrence, Kansas) Frank Shorter's win in Munich Olympic marathon in 1972 and popularity of long-distance running since then reported Film shown. (Network audio and video failure for several seconds.) 5-yr.-old Bucky Cox's long-distance running described. [MAN - tried to tell Bucky about difficulties and pain involved in running, but he wanted to run anyway.] [Bucky's mother Joni MAXWELL - is proud of son.] Bucky's successful participation in July 4th marathon at Junction City, Kansas, detailed; photos shown.
