(Studio) Supreme Court Justice Byron White's refusal to block jailing of "New York Times" reporter Myron Farber, who has refused to release subpoenaed records, reported.
REPORTER: Roger Mudd

(DC) Details of White's decision and of case given; is noted that case was compared by White to that ordering Richard Nixon to give tapes to Judge John Sirica. Farber's reaction in New York City reported [FARBER - will go to jail if there's no alternative.] Penalties levied against Farber and "New York Times" stated.
