(Studio) China (PR) chairperson Hua Kuo-feng's visit to eastern Europe, beginning with Romania, reported China's threat to USSR mentioned.

(Bucharest, Romania) Details about welcoming ceremonies for Hua, who is greeted by President Nicolae Ceausescu, given. USSR view of Chinese leader's visit and recently-signed Japan-China friendship treaty examined. Timing of visit to coincide with anniversary of USSR -led Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia reported Ceausescu's relations with USSR and Hua's planned talks with Marshal Tito and trip to Iran noted. Persian Gulf mentioned.
