(Studio) China (PR) Chairperson Hua Kuo-feng's arrival in Iran reported Effect of his European trip on USSR noted.
REPORTER: Roger Mudd

(Tehran, Iran) Details about Hua's visit and relations between China and Iran given. Shah's greeting for Hua and welcoming ceremony, similar to one received by President Carter earlier in year, described. Concerns of both leaders about USSR and Shah's reported hopes of support from Hua to counter Soviet military and political influence in Horn of Africa, Afghanistan and South Yemen stated. Hua's comments on USSR , made here as in Romania and Yugoslavia, reported.
