(Studio) Representative William Mills, recently accused by General Accounting Office of accepting secret $25,000 contribution from Nixon reelection committee , commits suicide.

(DC) Mills elected 2 years ago to fill unexpired term Rogers Morton when Morton appointed Secretary Interior. [MORTON - says he personally arranged campaign loans for Mills, but loans were to be paid back and so were not contributions and didn't have to be reported Mills concerned loan may be connected with Watergate scandal.]
