(Studio) President Carter's personal request to Jordan's King Hussein to support agreements signed on Sunday night by President Anwar Sadat and Prime Min. Menahem Begin noted; Hussein's alleged response reported Carter's upcoming address to joint session of Congress and, via TV, to American public mentioned.

(DC) Details of 2 agreements drafted at Camp David and signed by 3 leaders on Sunday night given. Issues still to be decided include Jewish settlements in occupied territory, final Israeli borders, status of Jerusalem and nature of autonomous Palestinian entity.

(DC) Problems facing final peace solution listed, include involvement of King Hussein, support of Saudi Arabia, Israeli parliament's decision re: Jewish settlements in Sinai and whether moderate Palestinians on west bank and Gaza Strip will be brave enough to negotiate with Israel while PLO denounces entire concept. Carter's telephone call to Hussein and letter to King Khalid mentioned. Begin's pledge that parliament will decide on settlements issue in 2 weeks stated. Breakthrus include Egyptian-Israeli agreement to sign peace treaty, if settlements issue cleared up, and framework for resolution to Palestinian question on west bank and Gaza. United States officials' views of situation given.
