(Studio) Summit talks between President Nixon and French President Pompidou begin in disagreement.
REPORTER: Howard K. Smith
(Reykjavik, Iceland) President greeted by Iceland President Kristjan Eldjarn. Before summit talks begin, President, Secretary of State Rogers, Kissinger, Ambassador Frederick Irving meet with Icelandic officials with regard to cod war with Britain. President Pompidou and Nixon fail to agree on United States meeting all NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) countries in 1 area in fall.
