(Studio) NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) said deciding next week on deployment of new nuclear missiles in Europe.

(DC) Disagreement over use of weapons by NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) said coming primarily from smaller ntns involved; representatives of those ntns noted meeting with Pres Carter in Washington, DC today. Secretary of State Cyrus Vance noted meeting with Danish representatives while Carter met with representatives of Holland and Norway Netherlands Prime Min. Andrie van Agt reported facing stiffest opposition; details given. Norwegian Prime Min. Odvar Nordli mentioned. Films shown. [CARTER - welcomes prime mins.] Deployment of weapons in question said occurring in 1983 unless USSR reduces its own arsenal of nuclear arms.
