(Studio) Senate committee postpones Senator hearings while Soviet party leader Brezhnev here.

(Capitol Hill) Senate leaders Hugh Scott and Mike Mansfield request public hearings be postponed while Brezhnev visiting. [Senator Howard BAKER - believes important summit meeting should be conducted without competition.] Senate committee chairperson Sam Ervin says White House sent no request for postponement. White House special assistant Leonard Garment clears way for Dean's whole story. [ERVIN - reports Garment said President waives rights between lawyer and client. President says Dean need not take executive clemency and ntl. security matters to be determined by Sen committee
