(Studio) 2 men in research submarine dead after rescue. 2 in ship's aft alive.
REPORTER: Harry Reasoner
(Key West, Florida) Heater failed on submarine in one compartment dropping temp. and breathable air below normal. [Dr. David YOUNGBLOOD - believes cold exposure reason for death. Won't know until submarine decompressurizes and bodies removed.] 2 dead are Clayton Link, son of sub inventor Dr. Edward Link, and Al Stover.
