(Studio) FBI reported suspecting link between assassination attempt on Vernon Jordan last spring and several other shootings.

(Chicago, Illinois) Possibility that Joseph Franklin and classified ad for rifle appearing in "Cincinnati Inquirer" are connected to racially-motivated shootings examined; films shown. [FBI agent Alfred SMITH - comments.] Rationale for suspecting Franklin examined; his escape from Florence, Kentucky, jail recently recalled. Shootings, their dates and locations, Franklin's believed possibly linked with listed on screen.
