Muskie shown. [MUSKIE - calls Brezhnev statement with regard to Persian Gulf out-of-focus.] Possibilities of force being used in Poland situation considered.

[BREZHNEV - (thru interpretor) speaks of Iran-Iraq war and interference of imperialistic powers.] [Indian government spokesperson J. North DIXIT - quotes Brezhnev denial of USSR invasion of Poland.] USSR officials said blaming Jimmy Carter administration for orchestrating crisis. Preparations for USSR invasion of Poland said not denied by USSR officials.
