(Studio) No American clergy said to celebrate Christmas with hostages. For. diplomats' request for visits with hostages said turned down.

(Tehran, Iran) Swiss diplomats said visiting 3 hostages. Physical conditions of 3 said good. Bruce Laingen, Victor Tomseth, and Michael Howland named as those visited. Last month scenes shown. Hassan Ayat quoted with regard to unlikely release of hostages before January 21 and prediction of spy trials for them. Ahmed Azizi and P. Min. Mohammed Ali Rajai quoted in reaction against Pope's plea for hostage release. Bleak prospects for release noted.
