(Studio) French to explode A-bombs in South Pacific over the wkend. International and domestic opposition to nuclear testing. New Zealand frigate filled with protesters moves closes to test site.

(Near Mururoa Atoll) French planes watch New Zealand frigate inside line of danger of atomic testing. [New Zealand immigration minister Fraser COLEMAN - doesn't know if frigate's action will stop testing, but to get world recognition for New Zealand's efforts.] [REPORTER - asks if protest is public relations project.] [COLEMAN - replies it definitely is because public opinion will help stop all nuclear testing.] Testing has not gone on schedule so far.
