(Studio) President Carter quoted with regard to Ayatollah Khomeini's alleged threat to hold US hostages until November reported [CARTER - says Khomeini doesn't want hostages released.] His description of Iran quoted; White House spokesperson quoted with regard to government not preventing hostage families from going to Iran as Barbara and Kenneth Timm are now doing. (Temporary audio and video difficulties.) Item said shown later in broadcast. Admin. reported exploring possibility of all families visiting their relatives in Tehran; 4 families reported going to Europe next week to discuss situation with government officials there.
