(Rutland, VT) Trial of rocket scientist Gerald Bull and retired United States Army Colonel Rogers Gregory on chgs. of smuggling arms to South Africa featured; films shown. Roles of State Department, Pentagon and CIA in the transaction said questioned; details of case involving Space Research Corporation and US government outlined; photos, films shown. Assessment of situation by former CIA ofr. John Stockwell, author of "In Search of Enemies: A CIA Story", outlined. [STOCKWELL - comments.] Paramil. ofr. assigned to CIA, John Clancey, and CIA said denying involvement; House International Affairs Committee reported planning hearings on CIA role. [Representative Stephen SOLARZ - comments.] Sentence given Bull and Gregory today and Justice Department's success in ending case abruptly noted.
