(Studio) Israeli Knesset reported formally annexing Arab eastern Jerusalem and declaring all of city capital of Israel.
REPORTER: Dan Rather

(Jerusalem, Israel) Knesset action today examined; films shown. Probable antagonism of Egypt and Carter administration by vote noted; 1967 Israeli occupation of eastern Jerusalem recalled. Efforts by Israel since to enlarge Jewish population of the city outlined; Prime Min. Menahem Begin's office said moving there soon. Jerusalem status recalled left unresolved at Camp David.

(Studio) Reaction to Jerusalem annexation by Egypt's President Anwar Sadat and foreign min. Kamal Hassan Ali quoted; possible suspension of Palestinian autonomy negotiations scheduled to resume in Alexandria soon noted.
