(Studio) Soviet news agency, Tass, warns United States not to intervene in Lebanon. US spokesperson says situation requires quiet diplomacy, not public argument. Egypt arranges conference for Lebanon and commandos it has been fighting. Report on Tripoli riots.

(Tripoli, Lebanon) City divided: 1/2 professional guerrilla; 1/2 professional Army. Curfew rigid. Army calls for volunteers. 1 spokesperson says Lebanon is Arab country and will eventually have to support guerrillas.
