(DC) President Reagan's instructions to OMB director David Stockman with regard to budget cuts noted; Stockman and Treasury Secretary Don. Regan reported meeting with President today. Reagan's continued lobbying efforts with regard to budget cuts with state and local officials discussed. [National Association of Republican Cnty. Officials president Robert ECKLES, National Council of State Legislators president Richard HODES - comment.] Reagan's public focus this week said on his budget cutting process; details given.
