(Myrtle, Mississippi) Charles Hughes said wanted by FBI since 1978 for murders near Panama City, Florida. Drug smuggling said involved. Conviction of 2 others in crime reported Videotape of sentencing shown. Myrtle scenes shown. Town said stunned. [Jeff BREWER, Peggy OWENS, Opal HUTSON, and Joe BREWER - praise Hughes.] Town said raising money for Hughes' (alias George Hacker) defense. $25,000 said goal. [Jim McALLISTER - says FBI doesn't make mistakes; predicts disruption of town by situation.] [HUTSON - speaks tearfully of friend Hacker.]
