(Studio) Environmental Protection Agency sues Minnesota iron ore refinery to stop wastes from being dumped in Lake Superior.

(Saint Paul, Minnesota) Reserve Mining Company denies its wastes pollute Lake Superior. Govt. maintains asbestos fibers found in its wastes could possibly harm residents' drinking water; controversy ensues. During hearing, Dr. Irvin Silicoff links wastes containing asbestos to cancer. Reserve Mining Company says own doctors and scientists to refute government's stand.
