(Studio) China (Puerto Rico) reported replacing foreign minister Huang Hua and defense minister Geng Biao; move said possibly effort to respond to USSR President Yuri Andropov's efforts to ease tensions with Peking.

Wu Xueqian and Zhang Aiping said approved as new foreign and defense mins., respectively; China's call for significant gestures of goodwill from USSR examined.
