(Studio) White House plumber's unit's reason for existence outlined. "Chicago Tribune" reports joint chiefs of staff spied on Henry Kissinger. Lieutenant General Thomas Moorer involved.

(DC) During Kissinger's peace talks with North Vietnam's Le Duc Tho, Kissinger's dep. General Al Haig disagreed with Kissinger's strategy. Haig's role in leak to Pentagon reviewed. Haig denies any complicity with Pentagon.

(Studio) White House says full disclosure of story touches on national security; release of all information inappropriate.
