[Defense Secretary Caspar WEINBERGER - explains President Reagan's inability to consider options.] [Senator Henry JACKSON - claims constituents see MX as boondoggle.] Weinberger mentioned stating that major of Representatives declined Air Force briefing in dense pack; efforts of Senator John Tower to save program in Senate described.
