(NYC) Job of firefighter, formally "fireman", described. [Brenda BERKMAN - speaks of training for job.] All women said failing physical test for job in NYC. Berkman's filing of class action suit chging. physical test is harder than job requires noted. [BERKMAN - complains about test.] Details given. [Fire Chief John HART - defends test.] [Detroit firewoman Cecilia BUCHANAN - says job not all that hard.] [Detroit Fire Chief Walter CHAPMAN - admits women did the jobs men doubted they could do.] [Susan TEKE - believes a training program would help women pass test.] [BERKMAN - says women must be offered chance for a great job.]
