(Studio) Richard Nixon recalled paying A. Ernest Fitzgerald out-of-court settlement; Supreme Court decision reported on suit brought by Fitzgerald over Nixon's firing of him when Pentagon official. Opinion of majority and of Justice Byron White quoted on screen. Nixon said declining comment. [FITZGERALD - reacts to ruling.] Court's decision on ability of federal courts to halt labor union strikes called to make political statement reported 1980 dockworkers' refusal to handle USSR goods following invasion of Afghanistan recalled basis of suit.
