(Studio) Federal Energy Office attempts to get facts with regard to fuel supplies.
REPORTER: Howard K. Smith

(DC) Till now, oil companies had statistics with regard to fuel supplies; energy office requests own fuel inventories. [Federal energy office Eric ZAUSNER - says information on production, imports, inventories to be requested.] Additional information to help government allocate fuel. [American Petroleum Institute Ray WRIGHT - doesn't know where government will find info.] [ZAUSNER - states audit teams to gather data as well as cross-checking figures in existence.] So far teams haven't been organized.
